Scenic Realty Co's Past, Present and Future
Scenic Realty was founded in 1961 by W. “Doc” Clabuesch, who, together with his wife Gertrude, built the company on Sand Point, Michigan with a clear vision: to serve the community with integrity and dedication. Doc continued to uphold those values throughout his career, remaining active in real estate until his retirement in 2008 at the remarkable age of 90.
In 1969, their son Hank Clabuesch joined the family business, continuing the legacy by helping families find their homes along the shores of Lake Huron and the surrounding areas. Under Hank’s leadership, Scenic Realty became synonymous with reliability, local knowledge, and personalized service. In April 2019, after decades of guiding clients with unwavering commitment, Hank entrusted the business to Kristy Carriveau—ensuring that the company’s longstanding tradition of trust would carry forward into the next generation.
Kristy Carriveau, Owner & Associate Broker- Kristy, a lifelong resident of the Pigeon area, spent her summers along the shores of Lake Huron in Caseville, fostering a deep connection to the community she now serves. She began her real estate career with Scenic Realty Co. in 2016, joining as a Realtor and junior partner to Hank. In 2019, Kristy earned her Broker’s license and assumed ownership of the company.
Today, Kristy proudly upholds Scenic Realty Co.’s longstanding tradition of trust—a reputation built over decades of dedicated service and integrity. Mary Foreman, Associate Broker- Mary has had many years of experience as an Associate Broker and a licensed Appraiser.
