Scenic Realty Co's Past, Present and Future
In 1961, W. “Doc” Clabuesch founded Scenic Realty and with his wife, Gertrude, operated the business located on Sand Point, MI. Doc continued selling real estate until his retirement in 2008 at the age of 90.
In 1969 their son, Hank Clabuesch, joined the family business, selling homes along Lake Huron and the surrounding areas. Hank successfully ran Scenic Realty until April of 2019, when he decided to slow down and sell the business to Kristy Carriveau. Kristy Carriveau, Owner/ Associate Broker- Kristy grew up in the Pigeon area and spent her summers on Lake Huron in Caseville! She’s a graduate of Central Michigan University and joined Scenic Realty Co. as a Realtor in 2016, becoming Hank's junior partner. In the spring of 2019, she got her Broker’s license and bought the business from Hank. Mary Foreman, Agent/Associate Broker- Mary has had many years of experience as an Associate Broker and a licensed Appraiser. Because of her professional longevity, she has a vast knowledge of many aspects in real estate! She joined the company in the spring of 2019. Karrie Foy, Agent- Karrie has lived in Huron County all of her life and is familiar with our local communities and the gorgeous waterfront real estate here.
